These large, omnivorous birds resemble Earthen pheasants. They are voracious and tend to eat as much as possible, especially near the breeding season, and effectively fatten themselves up; the heaviest wild phodo on record was weighed at just under six pounds and was completely helpless, being unable to fly. For this reason, they are the favorite meal of many on Dreyrull.
